God the Creator of All Things

Miami, Florida

Although I’ve been to Miami many times, I’m amazed by the beauty and life of this tropical haven each time I visit. On a recent trip, I got an opportunity to soak in the beauty of the sun, the exquisite flowers and foliage, and the fresh air. I was reminded of the beauty and splendor of God. My favorite scripture in the bible is Revelation 4:11, which says that everything that exists is because God created it and He created what He pleased. He created the heavens and the earth and all that is in it (Gen 1:1), including the beautiful city of Miami! But that’s not all. He created YOU.

Think about that.

He created YOU and me and He was pleased to do so. God was pleased to create you and me. I had to say it again because sometimes we just don’t “get” that. It’s easy to look at our mistakes and things going on in our lives as failures and begin to consider ourselves as such. But that’s contrary to God’s word which says that He created what He pleased. It doesn’t say He created what He pleased, which are failures. The word says that we are fearfully and wonderfully made and we are made in His image. We have to start seeing ourselves as God sees us. When God looks at us He sees His creation, which He was pleased to create.

You are beautiful. See yourself as God’s creation, made in His image and begin to see the beauty of God. See yourself as He sees you. Then face the day as though you can accomplish anything because all things are possible. All things are possible. All things are possible. All things are possible. When you get discouraged, take a look around you and see something good in your life and be grateful. Can’t see anything? The very fact that you can look around means you are alive and blessed to see another day. Be grateful. Every second you are breathing gives you another opportunity to see yourself as God sees you! Remember, He sees the best in you! See the best in yourself and start living today!
